  • 1.  Spectrum 10.2 NO "NSM Configuration"?

I believe in the release notes concerning Spectrum 10.2, the Unicenter Integration has been removed.   We use this, due to "NSM Configuration" to send traps to IBM's NetCool.  If I understand correctly, and this is going away, how do others send alarm/alert traps to disparate ticketing systems, for alerting, etc. ??

    Spectrum Documentation states the following:

The CA Network and Systems Management (CA NSM) reached end-of-life in 2015.

Starting from CA Spectrum 10.2 release, the CA Spectrum-NSM integration is not supported.

From what I have understood, you can install a SystemEdge agent on the NSM server and use that to forward either logfile monitor traps or NSM SysEdge Agent (as the NSM AIM) traps to Spectrum.

    Hope this helps.
