WLC Manager Discovery vs. Existing Pingable Access Points

Are there any suggested workflows for what to do with existing Access Point models (modeled as Pingable/Pingable) to take advantage of the new WLC Manager?  Any NewMM/DBconv magic to convert these into "Wireless/AP-Pingable"?

 

I'd like to avoid what I suspect will happen: that by running the WLC Manager discovery, I'll end up with duplicate models created for all of our AP's (numbering in the thousands)

 

Anyone else thought this through yet?

Spectrum takes care of this. The existing normal pingable models are deleted and AP-Pingable type model are created.
