I am getting this error when I am trying to edit the topology view.

The user account where I get this error is part of an admin group with ALL privileges (I basically checked all the boxes in the Add/Remove Privileges) - the installation owner account has no problems.

    What is going on here?

    Thanks,

Are you by any chance restricting users in the .hostrc file on the landscape in question?

    Thanks Greg for help.

I am not restricting any users - "Host Security" window from SCP doesn't show any users so nobody should be restricted. And I can't add users there even if I want to - it is all greyed out for me.

I had a look at the .hostrc file itself and I could see beside the two host entries the name of the installation owner ... should that be there?

You should just have the name of the Spectrum servers  in the .hostrc file. If you have the name of the installation owner that could be what is causing the

NO_USER error coming back from a CORBA call to the SpectroSERVER as it might be denying other users from making corba calls.

Thanks Greg, removing extra content from .hostrc file solved this.

I really wonder how did that end in there?
