    Hi Team,

Could you explain me better about a best pratice to a right use for SBGW?

I created a Event Admin model and changed the attributes on the image below to "TRUE"

After that i made a test and sent a trap with HP SIM Integration. I noticed the traps are coming and generating alarms properly (see the image below).

But i have the HP SIM's device model created on my SS and i'd like to avoid duplicate alarms on my OneClick console.

My question is how can i avoid two alarms on my console?

I have 2 situations on my scenario:

1º I'd like only to generate alarms from HP SIM on my Event Admin

2º I'd like to generate all kind of alarms on my Host_Device, avoiding Alarms from HP SIM.

    Do u have any idea?

Please, let me know something about that

    Thank you

    Regards,

    Carlos

If you have two models with the same ip created in the same landscape, there is no way to tell Spectrum to process the trap on one and not process the trap on the other. The only option is to attach an Event Condition rule to check the model type and based on the value, create a new event that will then assert an alarm. This will have to be done for each trap processed.
