  • 1.  IP SLA UDP jitter data via REST interface

Does anyone have experience in retrieving metrics related to UDP Jitter response tests (Jitter Out, Packet loss & Latency) via REST?  We're working on an application to provide IP SLA data on particular endpoints on demand, and need to pull this data, but we're stuck.

We're able to see the kind of data that we want in the GUI, in the tabular View "Top Response Tests - UDP Jitter (Table)"

In each row, under the Name column there's an entry such as:

    Rttmon Jitter Precision: 10.99.21.3-10.99.22.130 : 9

We know the IP address of the endpoint that we're interested in.  When we click on that entry in the table's name column, the URL that comes up includes an ID# called an "InterfaceID", however, this doesn't correspond to an "interface" when searching for that ID.  Also, when the search results come back, they are listed as Device Components.

Do we need to look for Device Components?  How do we get a list via REST?

    We're using CAIM release 2.3.3.

    Thanks!

You should use the Report Information Base API instead of REST:

CA Report Information Base API Guide Release 2.3.2

You probably want to query this table:
