  • 1.  How can i get the watches a model have using the CORBA API

    Posted Apr 15, 2015 01:52 PM

I need to check the WATCHES configured on interfaces on my SPECTRUM environment and want to do this using CORBA for performance reasons.

But i can´t find how to do this in the documentation.

Using CLI we have the "show watch" command, but for a environment with >700k interfaces it will take forever (almost 8 hours).

    Hello,

What if you create a port search using the model class attribute and "watch name" or "watch attrs"  attributes availble on the port model?

It solves part of the problem.

Giving a WATCH and what models it can be used i can look for it.

I will start with this idea.

But i want to have the option to look for all activated WATCHES in the database.

Then i need to have a way to found all watches and their informations (model type, inheritable, etc) to make the searches.

I used this approach but found a problem.

The attribute exists on every model where the watch was ever activated, even if the watch is deactivated now.

It helps a lot, but in the long term it will become a problem.

Does anyone else have any suggestions that may help JLBASTOS?
