In spectrum, can anyone tell how to monitor the BSNL,Reliance links.

Do we need to enable port monitoring of device /

Do we need to use the ping monitor for the provider end IP.

    Kindly update.

    Thanks

    Hi,

I have the destination IP, From the spectrum console, able to ping to the IP's.

Do we need to add ping monitor, like SNMP ?

    Thanks

Make a source test host ...Ensure the destination IP's are reachable from Source host.(ICMP allowed)

Right click the source host and create a icmp test with your destination IP. .Ensure the source must be in  read-write community string.

Kindly confirm whether you are implementing this in System edge machine ?

    Hi,

I am implementing this in Spectrum, The destination IP are able to ping from source host.

Can you kindly tell me How to add the new source host because the device from which destination IP is pingable must be added in source host.

Kindly update if any screenshots available.

    Thanks

    Shwetha,

Ensure the source host must be installed with System edge along with SRM packages, So only you can see the device under service Performance Manger tab.

Will be a good idea have a new tab to execute a ping, to measure latency and packet lots live. without build a ip sla test, or SRM.

Shwetha.gowda, what i mean is like the "Performance Tab"  wich show the cpu, memory, bandwith utilization, something like that but of ICMP, lantency and packet lost. And the oportuniy to set threslhold ofcourse.  I will do a photoshop/screenshot of what i mean.
