  • 1.  Does spectrum Version 9.3.0.1.82 incorporate patch 9.03.0 HF1

    anyone familiar with Spectrum patching and version Matrix?. When can I find out the relationships between Spectrum console version (9.3.0.1.82)  & hot fix patch(s) if applied (9.03.0 HF1) .

    the site address CA Spectrum Infrastructure Manager r9.3 Solutions & Patches - CA Technologies  and associated readme do not give this association/relationship. So H01 & H02 only need 9.03.0 installed as a prerequisite . How can I back track form a current version number  (9.3.0.1.82) to see if this incorporates H01 or does the .1.82 sub number version  indicate this?

    I can confirm that Spectrum 9.3.0.1.82 and Spectrum 9.3 H01 are the same hotfix.

    The numbering methodology for our .history file is as follows:

    9.3.0.1.82

     

    9.3 = Spectrum Version

    0 = Service Pack

    1 = Hotfix

    82= SPIN number (internal reference)

     

    Currently we have Spectrum 9.3 h02 available for download at

    ftp://ftp.ca.com/CAproducts/CA-SPECTRUM/Updates/GA/Spectrum_09.03.00.H02/

    Is there a link for 9.3 H03 that we can download. We are planning to upgrade our
    9.2 version and thought that we may go straight to 9,3 H03. Thanks

    You’ll have to first install 9.3.0 the base product release, then you can install H03.

     

    You can download from here:  ftp.ca.com<ftp://ftp.ca.com> /pub/CA-SPECTRUM/Updates/GA/Spectrum_09.03.00.H03  In this folder you’ll find self-extracting executables for the 3 supported operating systems, as well as the Fixed_Issues.H03.htm file.

    No I do not . But I do not require this .
