We are installing VAIM for a customer who wishes to use their SQL Server. We would like to be able to point the DB to go to a Z drive but it installs the DB on the default directory for the SQL which is the D drive.
There appears no way of being able to configure this through SQL and would like that to be confirmed ?
If this is the case then could we look to see if this could be a change for a future update of the product.
Are you asking to have SQL install a new VAIM DB on the Z: Drive?
When installing VAIM, it will use the default DB location. VAIM does not have permissions to
determine or change the drive a database is created on. This is a function of SQL sever and can
only be modified in Microsoft SQL.
You will have to configure SQL or change the Default
Database locations and then create a new database.
