Spec KB: Devices are missing from the Spectrum OneClick Chassis Manager and Chassis Down alarms are not generating when the device goes down.
Description:
Devices modeled in Spectrum are not showing in the Chassis Manager view within the OneClick explorer window. These devices support both the OLD-CISCO-CHASSIS-MIB as well as the ENTITY-MIB. Spectrum will query the OLD-CISCO-CHASSIS-MIB first for info. If the device has this mib enabled, and the information contained within this mib is incomplete, the OneClick Chassis Manager components will not be built. When viewing the OLD-CISCO-CHASSIS-MIB information on the device, you may see that tables are not filled in, there is incomplete data, or corrupt values. Spectrum processes the incomplete data but does not have enough to utilize, therefore the Chassis Manager detail is not built.
