Certificate request

Hi Team,

We have 3 PAM virtual appliance in one DC and two in another DC in a multi-site clustering.We are requesting third party certificate from outside PAM. So how many certificates will be required? Is one certificate enough to apply to all the cluster members along with the private key or we have to request separate certificates for each appliance.And does PAM has inbuild IIS?

Hi,

Traditionally most clients get one certificate (with private key) for their whole PAM infrastructure.  This one certificate with have multiple Subject Alternative Names (SANS) that account for the VIP(s) and Servers(s)  FQDN, shortname and IP address.
