In the CA PAM SSH client, the "^ E" character is prefixed after each ENTER

    Hi Community

The character ^ E is being entered automatically after each ENTER that you press. This error only occurs when the connection to the Endpoint is made from the CA PAM client.

Any idea about this error ?

    Hi Julian,

What PAM release are you observing this on? The problem is documented as being fixed in PAM 3.2.4, see the following item on page https://docops.ca.com/ca-privileged-access-manager/3-2-4/en/release-information/resolved-issues-in-3-2-4 :

    01284146/
    01272012

    DE402839/
    DE400223

Commands that are entered in SSH sessions fail with a "command not found" error when using editors like vi that do not recognize Ctrl-E (^E) as a control character to move the cursor to the end of the line.
