I have this situation:
- CA ITCM version 12.9
- CA Service Desk 14
- Remote MDB shared for both solutions
I need to upgrade my ITCM environment. The SD upgrade process has already passed on the MDB with the 14.x version setup. Now, before the IT Client Automation r14 setup, I must run the remote MDB setup again?
When you upgrade the domain manager it will automatically check the MDB and apply any upgrades/fixes if necessary. Its best to have SD stopped and a backup of the MDB taken before you upgrade Client Automation. Also make sure the user running the upgrade has full access to the SQL Server and MDB.
