  • 1.  I cant stop SystemEngine - CA Client Automation

    Hello CA community

     

    I request your help please regarding the following problem that I have with #CA Client Automation...

    I have been asked to completely stop the systemengine and despite what I have done, equipment collection routines continue to appear:

     

    - The task list has been completely removed
    - Scheduled data collection tasks have been changed only once
    - The domain manager of the workstations has been isolated

     

    Despite these activities and to perform the Stop Engine at the time of refreshing the systemengine, tasks continue to appear, How could I completely disable this?

    Hi Paolo,

     

    You could try to execute this command to kill the process if it has problem to stop :

     

    caf kill systemengine

     

    In Windows Task Manager the process cmengine.exe (full command line in "c:\Program Files (x86)\CA\DSM\bin\cmengine.exe" -name:SystemEngine) should disappear.
