    Hey Everyone,

I'm posting the latest WinOffline utility to the community.  For those unfamiliar, WinOffline is primarily used for sending Client Automation product patches or maintenance scripts down to agents in your environment.  It's a utility built around making the best attempt to avoid requiring a reboot on the target system, due to files being in-use.  WinOffline will gracefully stop CAF and all related subsystems (cfSystray, CAM, CSAM, etc), perform any patching or maintenance scripts, then restart the agent services, and report back informative results to software delivery.

WinOffline has two modes-- Interactive and Software Delivery.

The interactive mode is useful on domain or enterprise managers-- whether you are attempting to apply one or more test fixes/patches, or you need to take advantage of some of the built-in maintenance scripts.

The software delivery mode is useful for agent patching.  You can create a software package based on WinOffline, containing any test fixes/patches or maintenance scripts to be run on the target system.

Instructions, including a list of capabilities are found in the interactive mode of WinOffline.  Over the coming weeks and months I plan on expanding the capabilities of WinOffline to perform common maintenance and configuration tasks in order to help save Administrators valuable time.

Special Note: WinOffline is a .NET v4.0 application.

Microsoft CLR = Common Language Runtime

    CLR 2.0 = .NET versions v2.0, v3.0, and v3.5.

    CLR 4.0 = .NET versions v4.0, v4.5, and the latest v4.6.

As WinOffline is built on .NET v4.0, it's compatible with CLR 4.0, which is native to Windows 8 and 10, and Server 2012/R2.  For WinOffline to run on Windows 7 or Server 2008/R2, you must have the .NET framework v4.0 installed.

Please send any questions or feedback.
