    Hi,

I found some queries for MS Office under DSM Explorer>[Domain]>Queries>Software>All software by Microsoft. But I could not found any query for MS Access. I need a same query like MS Word, Excel etc which are already provided under that path I have mentioned, where I can get the list of assets with Microsoft office access installed. Please help me about this query.

    Thanks,

    Paul

    HI

You can add a query as follows

    open DSM Explorer

Right click on Queries and select New

In the Select target screen select Computer and click ok

In the Query Designer screen go under discovered software and select 'Microsoft Access'

Click ok and on save screen give it a name click ok

It will show up in DSM Explorer under My Queries and all Queries section.

    Hi

I would not use the advanced argument what exactly are you trying to do ?

there is a warning if you click on advanced argument button  "Advanced arguments are used for very specific querying in the Asset Management Database. This functionality should be used with care" That being stated what need is there to use an advanced argument  ?  I would advise you to refer to the CA Client Automation Asset Management admin guide

    at this link

    Thanks
