  • 1.  Asset Management and Microsoft Exchange/Lync Server

We want to install the ITCM Agent with the Asset Management plugin on a Microsoft Exchange and Lync Server 2013.

Is there anything special to consider especially in regard of the user part of the amagent ?

Inventoring a citrix server requires some configuration (disable user part of the agent).

Is there anything similar to do on an exchange server due to the many mailbox accesses from the users through Outlook- or Web-client?

    Regards

    Claus

    Hi Claus,

We are not aware of any configuration issues or problems installing the asset management plugin on Exchange or Lync Server 2013. As long as the OS is supported as per the ITCM compatibility matrix there should not be any issues.

    Regards,
