MDB database CA TICM and CA SA

I have installed CA ITCM mdb database while installing ITCM and it asks MDB database at the time of installation of CA Server Auto. So not sure if both product using the same database or just need to have a separate mdb database and not depended to each other..??

Hi

 

You can us same MDB or create a seperate instance of MDB for Server Auto, ITCM and Sever Auto has different tables.

 

Note: Please take a backup before any modification

Dear Vijay,

 

ITCM uses MDB as it's Database where as CA Server Automation uses aom2 and dpm as it's Database. If you are referring to using the same SQL Server as your

Database server, then you may do so as the databases are different.
