I recall having a similar problem when we started using a load balancer. I don't know exactly but combed my notes and recovered this which may be helpful... idk...
We have cookie persistence enabled and source IP persistence enabled as a backup. This means that whenever you (TIM) connect from your pc you are going to always go to the same server as long as the F5 has a persistence record for you (either it receives a cookie from you or has an IP to server binding).
It will load balance new connections where it does not have a persistence record. We can disable persistence but this will probably lead to the session errors we had before.

We are accessing the AWIs through a Load Balancer and every day, several times a day all users are disconnected from the AWI.
This issue only happens when we use the Load Balancer, it does not happen when we access the AWI directly.
