    Hi all,

Is this a known issue with the new AWI version Automic Web Interface 12.3.3.GA01-dev-feature-12.3.3-GA01-96976 ?

java.util.concurrent.ExecutionException: com.uc4.ecc.backends.exceptions.AutomationEngineAPIException: [HTTP 400] (45106) The request is invalid and cannot be processed by the Automation Engine.: No detail information available.

It occurs using AWI 12.3.3 => AE 12.3.2HF2 Sandbox (same Host)
It occurs using AWI 12.3.3 => AE 12.3.2HF2 Testsystem

It does not occur using AWI 12.3.2 => AE 12.3.2HF2 Sandbox
It does not occur using AWI 12.3.2 => AE 12.3.2HF2 Testsystem
It does not occur using AWI 12.3.2 => AE 12.3.2HF2 Testsystem (same Host)

    tried several JCP, JWP restarts

Any Ideas how to find the cause?

    THX WOlfgang

    Hi Wolfgang,

AWI 12.3.3 ist workinkg well only with JCP 12.3.3. So best ist to update the AE and AWI to prevent any issues.
When I'm right, the was also 2 plugins available fixing the issue with SQL and SAP Forms without updating the AWI. Please doube check in the advanced download area.

Also I've learned yesterday, that Transports (not export) created with 12.3.3 no longer can be loaded in a 12.3.1 and I guess 12.3.2.

    Hope this help,
    Franz

    Hi Franz,
I've noticed the same, but if you use the new 12.3.3 load utility for the load into 12.3.2 it works.

    Hi all

    THX for the inputs!

@Tatjana Radic Do you have more info on this about the technical reason? Is this in general for AWi and AE12.3 or an exception for 12.3.3?

Is this somewhere in documentation :-P

    THX Wolfgang

    Hi Wolfgang,

    here you're

Note: The Automation Engine and the Automic Web Interface components should always be on the same release version. To check other compatibility issues, see Compatibility Information.

    Hi all,

    https://downloads.automic.com/tools/compatibility_matrix?compatibility-mode=component&offering_version_id=1580454644957&lifecycle_entity_id=1409143059257

    states that

    Automic.Web.Interface 12.3.3 depends on Automation.Engine » AutomationEngine » minimum version Automation.Engine 12.3

Meaning that AWI 12.3.3 was tested successfully against and does support any AE release starting with 12.3.0 ...

    regards,
    Peter

    Hi all

    THX for your inputs!

indeed the sentence here: Note: The Automation Engine and the Automic Web Interface components should always be on the same release version
    https://docs.automic.com/documentation/webhelp/english/AA/12.3/DOCU/12.3/Automic%20Automation%20Guides/help.htm#Installation_Manual/AWI/InstallingAWI.htm

    contradits the release notes:
    Automation.Engine » AutomationEngine(minimum version Automation.Engine 12.3,
    desupported with version Automation.Engine 12.4)

    https://downloads.automic.com/tools/compatibility_matrix?compatibility-mode=component&offering_version_id=1580454644957&lifecycle_entity_id=1409143059257

or is at least not clear.

@Tatjana Radic can this be clearified - at least in docu & DL center?

    THX Wolfgang

    Hi Wolfgang,

The documentation is up to date.
We are working on the compatibility matrix to change this confusing message. We cannot guarantee that different SP/HF versions of AE and AWI will work without errors. Our test systems are always upgraded and tests are performed with the same versions of AE and AWI.
