Hi Kordula,
we have the same workflow running for different sized customers (and hence different long runtimes). In the workflow there may be wait situations, for example wait for sync or wait for resource. For individual large customers we increase the priority so that their processing can be completed in the promised time in any case.
In a processing where wait situations may also occur, we increase the priority of automatic restarts. But I cannot answer at the moment why my colleagues have implemented this in such a way.
By using different priorities, we have not experienced any difficulties so far.
Best regards,
Tim

Subject: Working with priorities
In AWA more or less all objects have the attribute "AE priority". Till now we don't use this attribute or better we use only the default priority 200.
Has anyone experience with different priorities? Does lead different priorities to worse performance of the AE system because before processing not only FiFo has to be considered?
Thanks.
