  • 1.  Error logging in to v12.3 for the first time.

    Can someone tell me where to start looking for this error?  I am trying to log into 12.3 for the first time and I am getting this error.  The JWP and JCP appear to up and working.  I know I am at least getting to the DB because it complained about an invalid password, so what is this error telling me?

    com.uc4.ecc.backends.exceptions.AutomationEngineAPIException:
    Error during XRequest com.uc4.communication.requests.GetRestEndpoints

    it looks that the AWI cannot connect to the AE system. In detail the communiction CP <-> JCP

    I followed the instructions and restarted all the processes, but I am still getting the same error.

    com.uc4.ecc.backends.exceptions.AutomationEngineAPIException: Error during XRequest com.uc4.communication.requests.GetRestEndpoints

    IT did create a trace file attached and this message in the WP019:

    Hi,

    I suppose you have already logged a support ticket with Broadcom?

    Please check the syntax of this parameter:

    ketstore=/u2/automic/utilities/server.keystore.jks
    Should be "keystore", right?

    Ticket logged with Broadcom.  they are doing the standard, power off, power on type stuff.  The JCP and JWP are running.  The http connection port is open and listening.  

    Still getting :
    "error during xrequest com.uc4.communication.requests.getrestendpoints"

    Any other suggestions on what the issue could be?

    it looks like you use Oracle Java 1.8 but the java installation directory points to java-1.8.0-openjdk.
    I got the same error message when I used an unsupported java version. 

    Supported Java versions are:
    • Open JDK Java 11 
    • Oracle Java 1.8 
    • Oracle Java 11
