  • 1.  how to install Help guide on Windows with User Interface?

    Hello!

    I'm using ONE Automation 2015 - Automation Engine 11.

    Is it possible to install the Help guide on a workstation with the user interface already installed, without reinstalling?  We have some developers with the user interface installed that don't have the Help guide, and were wondering if this was possible.

    Thank you.

    I'll assume that you are on windows, and that some of your workstations are already working fine with the help guide.

    It may just be a case of a missing folder?

    My personal install looks like this;

         C:\Automic\UserInterface\Bin\

         C:\Automic\UserInterface\Documentation\

    If they are missing the "documentation" folder, then copy it from a workstation that has this folder.

    Another option is to ask them to use this link when they need to look something up.  This is not as nice as context sensitive F1 help though;

    That helped!  I just copied it over and it worked, only difference was I had to set it one directory up from where you set yours, at C:\Automic\Documentation

    I think whoever installed my workstation just copied the webhelpe directory into where I needed the whole Documentation directory.  Thanks again!
