     How do I shutdown the Linux UC4 agent process properly

    How to shutdown the Linux agent process is described in our online documentation ins section':

    End the Agent (Host) by using one of the following options

    End the agent normally:

    kill-TERM pid

    End the agent via the AWI:

    Select the context-menu command Stop for the relevant agent in the Agents section of the Administration Perspective.

    Cancel the agent in emergency cases. Network connections are not properly closed.

    kill -KILL pid or kill -9 pid

     

    You can also use the Service Manager to start or end agents.

    Does this allow any active jobs on the agent to finish?  If not, is there a way to do that?

    I usually set the Agent resources to 0 first and then filter the activities windows by the Agent and make sure its good to go down.
