The AWA v12.2 documentation includes a new page describing keyboard shortcuts.
This page has a few problems:
- The pages implies that the keyboard shortcuts are features of the AWI, when in fact most of them appear to be either standard shortcuts that work in any application, or shortcuts common to web browsers.
- The page fails to note that shortcut modifier keys often differ between operating systems. E.g., keyboard shortcuts that use the Control (Ctrl) key in Windows and Linux typically use the Command (⌘) key on mac OS.
- The page misleadingly suggests that the F5 key refreshes lists in the AWI. It does so, but only by refreshing the entire page. There is still no shortcut key that is equivalent to pressing the AWI Refresh () button.
True AWI-specific keyboard shortcuts are a frequently-requested feature. If you like the idea, please vote for it.
