Using RA-FTP on a server where the RA-FTP agent is not installed.

Question:
Is it possible to leverage Automic RA FTP to transfer files from Server A to Server B and vice versa when one of the servers does not have an agent installed.
Answer:
It is possible to have two servers one where the RA FTP agent is installed and another where it is not. In order to perform a File Transfer you need to set up a connection object for the remote server(the one without the RA FTP agent installed).

Its possible to transfer files between two FTP Servers without the necessity of an installed agent on one of these servers.

The only precondition is that both ftp server must be accessible via FTP and there must exist a CONN object for both.

There is no need of any FTP Agent running on source or target FTP server.
