Hi Steve here is comment of the re start scenario. Restarted or resumed thread should NOT start as a fresh thread by resetting PROGRAM_STATUS and RESTART_FLAG. And RESTART_BOOKMARK table should NOT be cleaned by UC4 job.  Instead it should invoke the program AS IS.         The program has the logic of resuming from point of failure based on RESTART_FLAG and RESTART_BOOKMARK entries The acual observation of what happened When failed thread was restarted to resume from Point of failure, it started as Fresh thread. The "Start_Time" field was set with new time stamp. Instead "restart_time" should have been populated. This field was NULL          Ideally, the "restart_time" field will be populated if the program was resumed from point of failure based on RESTART_FLAG and RESTART_BOOKMARK
