Agree with David's Update!
Please use the latest Vmware GA probe version and check in the Adminconsole if you have the same behavior.
Increasing the startup parameters for vmware probe may help, to somehting like:
java_mem_max = -Xmx4096m
java_mem_init = -Xms1024m
max_perm_size = -XX:MaxPermSize=512m
+
options = -Xms1024m -Xmx4096m -Duser.language=en -Duser.country=US
+
Deactivate and Activate the probe
Maybe the probe is still scanning all the Vcenter, and need to wait, you can check the logs in loglevel 3 and logsize 95000 to see if have any errors.
