  • 1.  new hub data_engine fails to start

I'm adding a new hub to a domain which will eventually replace the existing primary.

the data_engine probe initializes but stops on the following statement about SLM_QOS licensing.

Dec 4 16:58:51:794 [5996] de: MY admin state: 'secondary', master is at: [/my-dev-domain/stc-hub-dev/my-hostname/data_engine]
Dec 4 16:58:51:798 [5996] de: You need a license for SLM-QOS to run this probe
    Dec 4 16:58:52:518 [6620] Controller: Probe 'data_engine' (command = data_engine.exe) returns no-restart code (42)

We have a license with plenty of room but perhaps this new hub has exceeded some kind of limit?  Or is there another cause for this stop?

    Thanks

    David,

Not sure why but the new hub did not have any licenses.  That's a first for me.

Added the licenses directly to the new hub and that resolved the issue for data_engine.

    Thanks!
