Ntevl generating old alerts

Hi All,

I am trying to monitor events 1074 and 6008 for windows reboot using ntevl but i am facing a weird issue that it is generating all old reboot alerts for all servers i have tested as of now. I never faced such issue with ntevl before. Please let me know if any change in configuration is to be done.

make sure you are running the latest version of the probe 4.32
I would suggest changing the position file update interval to 5 
then enabling the position file backup interval to 20.
