  • 1.  Execute a logmon profile using pu(Probe utility)

    Hello!!

    I hope you are fine.

I want to execute a logmon profile using nexec probe. I have tried to execute the follow command:

    ./pu -u user -p psw /Mutua/SRNMS01/srkmnms07_2/logmon runprofile ExpedientesEAR_ALF 0

I forced the error in the logmon profile, but when i run the command and the logmon profile executes, the alert is not created.

When the profile runs(without command) the probe send an alarm

    Can you help me please?

    Thanks.

WHY are you trying to use nexec to run the command?
This looks like you are using PU to call the LOGMON probe runpofile command. I do not see how you are using NEXEC in this call.

Can you provide the use case you are trying to do and more details so we can better help you?
Might also want to setup loglevel 5 logs and provide details as to any error, problems or differences in the logs.

    Hello,

I have to execute a logmon profile once a day at 8:00 a.m. I can´t schedule an execution in logmon probe.
I am using a PU command over nexec probe to try to schedule the execution of the logmon profile. I don´t know if there is other way to execute a logmon profile at an exact time.

    Thanks.

I would suggest looking at just having the probe start running at 8 AM and only run for 5-10 minutes

    HI,

    Thanks for your help.

If i do that, I would have a probe only for one profile. Can i have two logmon probes in one robot? One for other profiles and the other for the "special" profile.

    Thanks!

no, it would affect all profiles.
What error exactly are you getting when trying to use nexec?

I have executed the command using nexec and console. The command runs ok, i think, but when i force an error(on the logmon profile), the alarm is not created.
This is the alarm that appears if i use the logmon profile
When i use the command to execute the logmon profile no alarm is created.

    Thanks.

set the logmon loglevel to 5 and logsize to 75000. then test both and check the different runs.
