It could be the .vn relates to VN_QOS_DATA tables which are custom views created via qos_views.sql, it seems to be a Services thing, and not there by default. 
Basically the VN_ tables(views) are a JOIN on RN + HN data.
No idea why it popups up for you.

Hi Bruno,

qos_views.sql
The qos_views.sql script is a custom field-developed script to create views that makes it easier to help feed data into dashboards by querying the views.
It creates views named V_<qosname>, for example V_QOS_CPU_USAGE but nothing to do with .vn.

In the CA UIM DB, the VN_QOS_DATA tables are simply views, which do not hold any actual data. They pull data from the RN, DN, and HN tables.

Nevertheless, ca_uim.vn seems to be related to something custom as Dave initially indicated. Maybe your query is going against a custom table that no longer exists.
