  • 1.  SNMPC - Doubts about how to operate SNMPC

    Hello CA Guys,

     

    We have a doubt (again) about how to use SNMPC probe. Specifically, we need to know how to add some interfaces on monitoring not discovering all interfaces, only interfaces that will be monitored via CAUIM.

     

    For example, we have the following scenario:

     

    INTERFACES UP/UP (ADMIN/OPER STATUS)
    DEVICE 01: Gi1/0/1, Gi1/0/2, Gi1/0/4
    DEVICE 02: Gi1/0/1, Gi1/0/4, Gi1/0/6
    DEVICE 03: Gi1/0/1, Gi1/0/6, Gi1/0/12

     

    INTERFACES THAT SHOULD BE MONITORED VIA CAUIM
    DEVICE 01: Gi1/0/1, Gi1/0/4
    DEVICE 02: Gi1/0/1, Gi1/0/6
    DEVICE 03: Gi1/0/1, Gi1/0/12

     

    What kind of filter we could create for this scenario?

    Try with adding custom tag to the interfaces you want to monitor and then create a custom interface filter in the tempate to match this tag with correct priority .Might have to remove default interface filter which matches all INTERFACES UP/UP (ADMIN/OPER STATUS)
