  • 1.  url_response "Fetched ok" meaning

In the url_response probe, profiles have a "Test URL" button.  A successful test results in a "Fetched ok" message.  What specifically does the probe key on to issue this "Fetched ok"?  A 200 code, a 2xx code, a 2xx + some 3xx codes, something else?  One of our developers asked what it was looking for to be successful, and I didn't have an answer, nor can I seem to find it documented anywhere.

Hello Darryl, can you please raise a support case so we can check with engineering that has access to the code for the probe.

    Kind regards,

    Hi Darryl,

The url_response probe actually uses curl (libcurl) to fetch a web page. You can see some of the activity when you set the loglevel to 5, e.g., HttpOpenResponse/HttpSendResponse.

As per the code, the Fetched Ok response and logged activity is based on the curl result (CURLE_*) and resultant HTTP response code/Status.
