Hi All,

does anyone did some experiencing in integrating UIM with Microfocus OMi 9?

Integration means simply "sending" events/alarms from UIM to Microfocus OMi 9 in a more robust way than send traps.

Hello!

If your Microfocus OMi is using Oracle DB, you can use the Oracle probe to monitor.

About an integration Between both UIM and Microfocus OMi , we do not have any documentation about it.

Let me clarify: I was not speaking about monitoring the behavior of OMi (it seems to me you are going in that direction) but monitoring an infrastructure and send alarms / events to OMi console.

Does it make more sense?

If OMi can received emails or snmp traps then:

nas can be configured to email or

emailgtw (Email Gateway) - CA Unified Infrastructure Management Probes - CA Technologies Documentation 

snmpgtw (Simple Network Management Protocol Gateway) - CA Unified Infrastructure Management Probes - CA Technologies Doc… 

Maybe it can use UIM Rest interface to pull alarm data from UIM

I spoke with the customer who is trying to evaluate the following:

CA UIM to Micro Focus Opsbridge Suite 

Do you have any insight or experience on this? Moreover following this way I was considering introducing API Gateway and/or Automic.

Any ideas to share?
