  • 1.  Is possible add a variable to message snmpcollector probe

    Hi all.

     

    If I need that the alarm of type interface from snmpcollector probe contain in the message the "IfAlias" is possible?

     

    Interface of a device where the IfAlias contain name.

     

     

    We need that the alarm contain the name "CONEXION_WAN"

    Unfortunately, it is not possible as of now.

    I think it is a great idea for future enhancement.

    Hi Yu how are you?

     

    Dear, I have other question reference this post, and I hope you can guide me.

     

    I need create an AO that send email filtering the interface that with the name "CONEXION_WAN" or "CONEXION_ACDADEMICA" and this name only apprear in IfAlias of interface.

     

    I don't know how obtain those names in message for create an filter that permit sent the email from NAS probe

     

    Any suggerence ?

    Unfortunately there is not possible to make ifAlias take part of snmpcollector alarms.

    Thank you Yu, and is possible modify the message of each individual metric of each profile in snmpcollector.?

    Yes it is possible using "Custom Message".

    You can check what variables are available by typing "${" in the Custom Message field.
