  • 1.  CAUIM - UMP - Dashboard Portlet does not loading files

    Hello CA Guys,

     

    I need your help, one more time

     

    In our environment, we are using Dashboard Portlet for design and implement dashboards for our customers.

    But, I do not know why or how, our dashboard portlet is not loading files/projects saved. 

     

    The portlet stays on this screen all the time, only loading and loading.

     

     

    Technical steps already taken:

    Restart of Wasp probe;

    Active/Deadctive portlet from UMP control panel.

     

    Someone have any idea what to do in this case?

     

    CAUIM NMS version 8.20

    CAUIM UMP version 8.20

    the only think I can suggest would be to set the wasp loglevel to 3 and logsize to 35000 and restart

    check the portal.log and wasp.log for errors to see if that provides a direction.

    You could deactivate wasp and try emptying out the /tmp directory on UMP or c:\windows\temp depending on the OS.

    Also can try renaming the wasp\webapps\dashboards folder while wasp is deactivate and let it recreate and see if that helps.

     

    Currently there are no hotfixes for 8.2

    if none of that helps I would suggest updating to the latest verison 8.51 and see if that does not resolve your issue.

    Thanks for your reply.

     

    If I recreate the folder wasp\webapps\dashboards, what will be the impacts for the dashboards already creates? Customers will lost dashboards? Customers will not view dashboards?

    Hi

     

    there should be no loss of anything.

    the custom dashboards are stored in the database.

    This is just the webapp portlet itself.

    Just trying to reset it.

    Gene,

     

    Dashboards are from Dashboard portlet and not from Custom Dashboard portlet. 

    Are they still stored in the database even with Dashboard portlet?

    yes all dashboards and reports are stored in the database.

    I did the procedure that was recommended and did not work. I'll open a ticket on the support
