Need to know if UIM logmon probe can handle criteria such as below:

    Path: /******/scripts/jobscripts/UIMMON/logs/YYYYMM/statuslog_SendUIM_YYYYMMDD.log

Here the YYYYMM is directory which changes on monthly basis

I think reading file names with timestamps might not be a problem it's the timestamp based directory that is concerning me.

Any ideas or suggestions would be helpful.

You can use patterns in the directory too.

One thing to keep in mind that I see people forget often is that if you use a pattern, logmon will check every file that matches the pattern every cycle. Not a big deal if five files match but a much larger issue if there's hundreds or thousands. And if your cycle time is fast, you can unintentionally set up a situation where a year from now UIM will kill a box it is monitoring.

logmon Advanced IM Configuration - CA Unified Infrastructure Management Probes - CA Technologies Documentation

Look for "Use Time Formatting Primitives" and note that they are platform dependant too.
