To allow user to have a field on the SNMP profile to indicate that profile's engine ID belonging to which device

facing operation issue managing and tracking each device sending SNMP v3 traps to SNMPTD probe.

It will be a lot easier to have 1 more field to enter host name or description of the profile to identify whether the engine ID belongs to which device. That way, it will be more easier to manage and track the engine ID.

Is there a way to allow SNMPv3 traps to reach SNMPTD probe without creating the SNMP v3 profile in the SNMPTD probe?   Could it be case of an feature enhancement or any limitation of SNMP rule such as RFC?

    Regards
