  • 1.  eHealth REDO1A.log missing

    Hello !
    A user for disk space problems delete some redo files from C:\ehealthDB\oradata\EHEALTH\ArchiveLogs, but he also delete files from the parent directory "C:\ehealthDB\oradata\EHEALTH\", for example REDO1A.LOG. And now eHealth services dont start.. is posible rebuild this files ?

    Is it only the REDO logs that were deleted or any other files too? If its on REDO logs then I guess they should be recreated after starting the Oracle and eHealth services .

     

    Normal procedure would be to stop eHealth server and Oracle, remove all of the redo log files under the ArchiveLogs directory, then start Oracle and the eHealth server again.

    I guess the same, but not were recreated after restart, the solution was restore a backup. (destroy db, restart os, create db, restore db)
