Admin Console Template Questions

Two questions regarding the Admin Console.

1. We had a previous version of the hp_3par deployed and had our own customized template defined. In the new version of the probe they added new metrics that we can monitor now. They added Hardware CAGE metrics for fan and cpu. How do I add these new metrics into our existing customized template that we are currently using. I DO NOT want to have to copy the new one, and then tediously have to re-create the whole thing from scratch.
2. How do we switch Auto Monitors to a static w/in a profile instance? Meaning if I have say CPU usage as an item in a template and say this device has 4 cpus. Well, all 4 get picked up but say we want to turn off cpu #4? How do we do this? Similar to the way we can make metrics in the vmware probe static.

Hello, Dan.

Regarding question 2, we need to exclude specific instance from being applied by template.

Please use filter rule to exclude specific instance.

If there is no filter rule, template is applied on all the instances.
