Does UIM TopN Report use only raw data for reporting ?

Hello All,

 

Does UIM TopN report uses only raw data for reporting ?

 

We have the raw data being stored in DB for 40 days and when I run a TopN report for duration later than 40 days it does not populate any data . However it does show data if the duration is less than 40 days .

 

Is that TopN report report uses only raw data for reporting ?

 

Any inputs on this would be appreciated please

Hello Phani, I have spoken to one of our backline engineers and the answer is yes. Is uses RAW Data.

Thanks for the update Britta , is there any specific technical reason for including only the raw data . It would be good to have an option to select the Aggregation Interval like we have for Group Trend Report as the raw data is normally stored for a very short duration . Just wanted to have a bit of understanding before I open it as an idea 

 

A few days back I was looking to run a TopN report for a bunch of devices for the month of Jan and I could not find a way . 

 

Please advice
