  • 1.  VM’s are not picking IP address

    Virtual machines discovered from vmware probe is not picking IP for some servers ,however in vmware probe we can see IP address in guest summary details.

     

    VMtools and tools version are running and current .Kindly suggest.

    Is the issue you are having that the vmware vm's and the alarms in UMP display as hostname while you expect IP address? 

    The vmware probe imports all of the Resource entries from the VCenter, so the VMs need to be set to Ip address in the Vcenter. are they?

    Does your VM have VMTools instaled?

    yes ,tools are running.
