Is there anyway around the SDGTW ServiceNow User that is used for the probe to not have the Admin Role in Service Now?

Is there anyway to get around this or is it possible to authenticate to a certificate?

We want to use this for integration between UIM 8.5.1 and ServiceNow however it seems unless the user for the probe instance has the Admin Role in ServiceNow the incidents don't/can't get created. Anyone else had this issue and not feel comfortable having to give a service account the Admin Role and have a work around?

    Hi Robert,

    "admin" should not be required.

Service Now: The user configured in the ServiceNow connection profile needs the following roles allocated in ServiceNow to be able to work:

    • ITIL
    • personalize_dictionary
    • SOAP

    Thanks,
    Shawn

Thanks Shawn, there was some conflicting info we had gotten from support. We tried that combination and all is working properly now.
