    Whether VM hardware version can be monitored in Vmware probe ?

    I don't think we have VM Version variable available through vmware probe

    Agreed, the last vmware probe version (6.83) does not provide information regarding the VMware hardware version level of a virtual machine.

    Yes , but there is any plan to have in upcoming versions ?

    Yes Britta,it has done..But these are basic parameters which needs to be as part of probe.
