While configuring Email gateway under CA UIM Snap configuration, we are getting error as "Warning: Exchange Login Failed". Here we are using Exchange for mail and used user is having access to exchange application.
Is there any prerequisites for Email gateway configuration?
What type of access user must have on exchange application/server?
Even similar error "primary smtp login failed" while configuring through smtp but telnetting the server manually on port 25 is happening successfully.SNAP Central (deactivated Feb2018)
Issue resolved. As smtp server is using relay without any authentication, hence we had to check TLS without any username and password.
