  • 1.  Change Device Hostname in UMP

    Hello Folks,

     

    There is a way of change the hostname of a device in UMP? Or a way of set a 'alias' ?

     

    Versions:

    CA UIM 8.2

    CA UMP 8.2

    Hi,

     

    In 8.2 it's not possible unfortunately, but in 8.31 and above USM has the ability to set a display alias.

    Hi

     

    I don't know the impact of this, but You can change the hostname through update sql query. So be careful.
