data_engine and SQL OLE DB

    Are there any plans to update the data_engine to use ODBC instead of OLE DB?  It seems that OLE DB has been deprecated by Microsoft for some time.

    I just came over this question that has not been answered yet. This is already on the list of development and will be addressed in a future release.
