Restarting UMP 2.5.1?

What are the correct steps for restarting UMP?

 

1. Stop wasp probe

2. Stop dashboard_engine

3. Start dashboard_engine

4. Start wasp

 

We are restarting dashboard_engine but then we keep getting Max restart alerts due to start java commands.

Max. restarts reached for probe 'dashboard_engine' (command = <startup java>)

I am aware that dap probe used to be associated with SDP, but I'm not sure about UMP.

Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.

It looks like you have the correct order - it's the order I use anyway. I do also stop the dap as well as I believe it serves pretty much the same role in UMP as is it did in SDP. 

 

1. Stop wasp probe

2. Stop dashboard_engine

3. Stop DAP probe

4. Start DAP probe

5. Start dashboard_engine

6. Start wasp

 

I am not certain that failure to follow this order  or not restarting the DAP would result in the DE probe not being able to start however.
