I am trying to monitor a log file which just has a date in it. And if the date is not the present date then I need an alert. I did this
(\d{1,2}\/\d{1,2}\/\d{4})
But this will just be giving any date provided the expression matches. So in this it will be matching. So any idea on how to get this. I am looking to alert only when the date is not the present date (today's date)
